The Morgan Hill Swim Club, known as the “Makos”, is a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit educational organization, and is governed by an all volunteer Board of Directors. The board is comprised of the parents of several of the Mako athletes. Each board position has a two-year term, and needs to be renewed by an all member vote which takes place at our annual board meeting each September.
The following are brief descriptions of the areas of support that each board member provides to the club. Feel free to contact any of them directly if they can be of assistance to you:
President: Eric Sidebotham – president@morganhillmakos.com
Eric’s responsibility as board president is to manage the overall direction of the team, to meet with the heads of the Aquatic Center as necessary, and to preside over the monthly board meetings. Eric’s two daughters, Ellie and Maddie, are on the team.
Vice President: David Pride - davidprd3@gmail.com
The main responsibility of the Vice President is his role as the liaison between parents and the coaching staff, and supporting the evaluation process for the coaches. If you need to discuss an issue regarding one of the coaches, the first thing you should do is talk to David. His two sons, Brandon and Aaron, are on the team.
Secretary: Rob Reagan – secretary@morganhillmakos.com
The main responsibility of the secretary is to write the minutes from all board meetings, provide surveys to the membership, and assist the President and Vice President as needed. Rob’s son Ryan and his daughter Jessica is on the team.
Treasurers: Sarriet & Severn Ferdun – treasurer@morganhillmakos.com
Both Sarriet and Severn manage all the financial aspects of the team. The Ferdun’s daughter Sesa is on the team.
Membership: Cindy Giacobbe – membership@morganhillmakos.com
Cindy is the key point person for new and returning members to the team by making sure all forms are filled out correctly and new swimmer applications have been processed. She also assists with communications between the board and the team families with respect to new Pacific Swim cards, and other annual needs. Cindy’s daughter Amanda is on the team.

Mike is responsible for all fundraising aspects of the team, including fundraising events, corporate sponsorship, grants and the like. Parents will be contacted to help in each of these areas as needed. Mike’s daughter Abby is on the team.

Mike Greymont coordinates and manages all aspects of the swim meets that the Makos host. Mike has three children on the team; Zachary, Alyssa, and Matthew.
