Volunteer Policy

Being that we are a parent run organization, our club depends on each family to volunteer as needed whenever we host a meet, put on social events, and help with other special activities. Each family is expected to serve a minimum of 36 hours per year (basically 3 hours a month). Incomplete volunteer hours will be billed to the family at a rate of $15.00 per hour. Any family member age 15 years or older can help to fulfill this requirement.

iVolunteerOnline

The Makos use an online scheduling system to facilitate our volunteering needs. It’s called, iVolunteerOnline and it’s easy to use.  When you’re logged in, you will be able to see roles that need to be filled, what’s already been filled, and who’s volunteered to date. 

If you’ve not done so already, click on the above link and create a logon ID and password. Easy to follow directions are then provided.
